The Redmi Pad 5 is rumored to be launching shortly in India. A new tablet bearing the Redmi branding has been discovered in the US Federal Communication Commission FCC database. According to the ad, a 7,800mAh battery might be inside. MIUI 13 could also function on the Redmi tablet. Dual-band Wi-Fi functionality for 2.4GHz and 5GHz has been listed. However, it can be either identified as a Redmi tablet, Redmi Pad 6 or the Xiaomi Pad 6.

According to the report, the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G SoC is reported to power the Redmi Pad 5. It is rumored to have dual 5G support for SA and NSA as well as 5G capabilities. A 90Hz refresh rate display and an ultra-linear quad speaker arrangement are supposedly included in the Redmi Pad 5. According to reports, the tablet uses MIUI PadOS 13. Additionally, it is touted to offer 30W ultra-fast charging. It may offer a Sony image sensor with AI photography capabilities for optics.
