The brand owned by China’s Transsion Group, Infinix, introduced its newest budget offering, the Infinix Hot 12 Pro, on Tuesday in India. The new phone has a notch display with a waterdrop shape with a refresh rate of 90Hz, and a touches sampling rate of 180Hz. A UniSoc T616 SoC with up to 8GB of RAM and a maximum of 128GB of internal storage powers the Infinix Hot 12 Pro. Using the unused internal storage, the RAM may be increased by another 5GB. It displays a dual camera setup with a primary 50-megapixel sensor at the back. The device from Infinix boasts a 5,000mAh battery and supports 18W rapid charging.
The base Infinix Hot 12 Pro model, which comes with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, is priced at Rs. 10,999 in India. The cost of the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model is Rs. 12,999. Infinix is offering the top-end model for Rs. 11,999 as an introductory deal. The smartphone is available in the colors Electric Blue and Lightsaber. Starting on August 8, the new Infinix phone will be offered for purchase on Flipkart.
The dual-SIM (Nano) Infinix Hot 12 Pro has a 6.6-inch HD+ fluid display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a 180Hz touch sampling rate. It is powered by Android 12.0 with XOS 10.6 on top. The display’s maximum brightness is 480 nits. An octa-core 12nm UniSoc T616 SoC and up to 8GB of RAM power the Infinix Hot 12 Pro. Using the extra built-in storage, the RAM can be increased by up to 5GB.
The Infinix Hot 12 Pro’s optics include a dual rear camera configuration with AI support, and a dual LED flash. A 50-megapixel primary sensor, an f/1.6 lens, and a depth sensor are part of the camera package. An 8-megapixel selfie camera with AI assistance and a dual-LED flash is located at the front of the device for selfies and video chats. Additionally, the Infinix Hot 12 Pro provides up to 128GB of internal UFS2.2 storage.
The Infinix Hot 12 Pro has 4G LTE, WCDMA, GSM, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth v5, GPS/A-GPS, and other connectivity options. The proximity sensor, g-sensor, e-compass, and ambient light sensor are onboard. Additionally, the phone has a fingerprint sensor for biometric identification.
The 5,000mAh battery in the new Infinix Hot 12 Pro supports 18W fast charging. With a single charge, the battery provides up to 79 hours of music playback, 41 hours of talk time, and 12 hours of gaming. It is said to give a standby period of up to 45 days. Additionally, the phone weighs 191grams and has dimensions of 164.2x75x8.42mm.
