Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 is launched

The new clamshell foldable smartphone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, as anticipated after numerous leaks and rumors. It serves as a replacement for the Galaxy Z Flip 3 from last year and has Samsung’s Armor Aluminum frames, making it water-resistant IPX8. Corning Gorilla Glass Victus Plus protects the display and back glass of the Galaxy Z Flip 4. Along with the Flex mode, which automatically scales apps to accommodate the foldable screen, Samsung included the FlexCam function on the Galaxy Z Flip 4 to allow for hands-free photo and video taking. A 3,700mAh battery powers it.

In a few markets throughout the world, starting on August 26, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 will be sold. The Galaxy Z Flip 4’s availability and price in India have not yet been made public. The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 has a dual-SIM (Nano + eSIM) configuration and runs Android 12 with OneUI 4.1.1. It has a 6.7-inch primary Dynamic AMOLED 2X Infinity Flex Display with a full-HD+ screen. The primary display’s size is comparable to that of the model from the previous year. A 1.9-inch Super AMOLED screen with a resolution of 260 x 512 pixels is present.

When the Galaxy Z Flip 4 is partially bent, the Flex Mode will let users view two apps in split screen mode. From the exterior display, customers, according to Samsung, can answer texts, make calls, unlock their cars, and perform other tasks. Samsung has included a new FlexCam function on the Galaxy Z Flip 4 that enables users to record images and videos hands-free by setting the phone up on a surface, in addition to the Flex mode, where apps will automatically change to accommodate the folded screen. According to the business, FlexCam is optimized for social media sites controlled by Meta, including Instagram, Facebook, and WhatsApp. When the Galaxy Z Flip 4 is folded, the Quick Shot feature allows quick camera access by swiftly double-clicking the Side Key. The Galaxy Z Flip 4 comes with a 3,700mAh battery from Samsung that supports 25W rapid charging. Additionally, it is claimed that the battery can charge from empty to 50% in just 30 minutes.
